Jabra Elite Active 75t - True Wireless Sports Earbuds

Foreword

1. Earbuds or earpieces consist of individual units that plug into the user's ear canal.

2. True wireless earbuds have no cord to keep each bud connected to each other. They rely on wireless technology such as Bluetooth to transmit audio from a hardware device.

3. An audiophile is a person who is enthusiastic about high-fidelity sound reproduction

4. An audiophile seeks to reproduce the sound of a live musical performance, typically in a room with good acoustics.

5. The term high-end audio refers to playback equipment used by audiophiles, which may be bought at specialist shops and websites.

6. Many have asserted that the occasionally high cost produces no measurable improvement in audio reproduction

7. For example, skeptic James Randi, through his foundation One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge, has offered a prize of $1 million to anyone who can demonstrate that $7,250 audio cables "are any better than ordinary audio cables"

Start of Post...

The brief introduction was just to provide a perspective on my view on expensive headphone equipment. Most people prefer changing the headset brand now and then, as the new "brand", regardless of its quality, would provide a different "type" of output, and its uniqueness brings substantial utility to the experience of music listening.

I have tried many brands and types of audio headsets, and I prefer changing the equipment now and then to get a different experience.

Today, I am going to review Jabra Elite Active 75t, which I find pretty pricey but it serves its purpose, testified by its sales figures.

It comes in 4 different colors, Navy Blue, Dark Grey, Mint, and Sienna.

It fits well for me, and the grip on my ear is feasible for me to go jogging or cycling.

The sound quality is subjective to the individual who experiences it, but I would give it an 8/10 rating.

Its specifications claim that it is waterproof, but I wouldn't throw it in a bucket of water just to test this statement(hey, it is expensive!!).

It has a 2 -year warranty against sweat and dust, which comes pretty handy for normal use. I haven't read its entire warranty T&C, but I would assume it does not cover heavy water damage, despite being marketed as "Waterproof".

I got a 3-hour battery listening to music alone and average volume, which is a far cry from the claimed 5.5 hours. I assume the battery would degrade as it is used, so I assume by the end of the 2 year warranty period, I should be happy with one-hour music.

I would get and use this if my other option is the Apple Airpods Pro!

Verdict: If you're looking for sports headphones for running and other athletic pursuits -- and you sweat a lot -- spending a little more on the Elite Active 75t may give you some added peace of mind that your headphones may hold up better over time. Buy it and enjoy it!
